Idolina Armendáriz
Idolina Armendariz began her dance training at an early age in Tijuana, México. She became a member of the Minerva Tapia Dance Group in 1996 first as an understudy and then shortly that year became a full fledged member of the company. She has performed in several International and National Dance Festivals, such as the “ Sushi Project” in San Diego, California (2005); “Bodies in Motion”; "International Dance Showcase” in Tijuana, Baja California; “University Dance Festival” in Hermosillo, Sonora(1999); the “V Solos and Duets International Dance Festival ” in Cualiacán, Sinaloa (2007); “3rd. Blue Grass State International Dance Festival” in La Grange, KY. (2008), “Celebrate Dance Festival” in San Diego, California in 2009; “Border Dances” at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff, Arizona (2009); the duet of “Borderline Bodies” in Málaga, Spain at the “23rd World Congress on Dance Research” and "Border Dances" at the Joyce Soho in New York.
